What You Should Expect from Your Agent When Buying a Home

Bob Kutschbach, owner and broker of Carleton Realty, shares what you should expect from your agent when buying a home.

Agents are not just “door openers”, your agent should be a source of knowledge during the entire real estate transaction. You should expect your agent to be an expert on local neighborhoods, financing, mechanicals, paperwork and negotiating. Not only does the agent you choose work to find the perfect home for you to buy, but they should also have a network of resources to help and guide you through the entire home buying process. You should make sure to work with an agent that makes you feel comfortable with the process and can explain all the ins and outs to you.
