The 2021 Welcome Home Grant is out and effective March 1st!
Each participating community bank has been given $200,000 for home buyers, which is allocated at $5,000 per buyer. If you are a veteran you could qualify for $7,500. IF you are considering purchasing a home make sure to apply for the grant quickly, funds usually run out in the third week of March.
This grant can be used for down payment assistance and/or closing costs. The Welcome Home Grant can be combined with other down payment assistance programs like the Ohio Housing Finance Agency (OHFA) programs.
