March 2022 Market Report

Despite there being more inventory to buy, home sales have dropped off slightly in March according to Columbus REALTORS®. Down 2.5% over March 2021. Year-to-date sales are down 1.2% The price of homes, however, continued to rise, the average sale price is up 11.9% over March 2021, from $284,817 to $318,826. The median sales price is up 13.6%, from $245,700 to $279,000. Homes are selling 25% more quickly too, from an average of 24 days on the market to just 18.

Carleton Realty’s sales volume is up 31.5%. March to March, Carleton Realty’s average sale price is up to $241,445 over 2021’s $221,400, and 14.7% year to date.
