2021 was a wild year in real estate. We had more homes listed in 2021 (39,957) than in 2020 (36,023) and the inventory of homes for sale at the end of the year was 2,121, up 72 over 2020 at 2,049. Despite there being more homes for sale, the competition was fierce, driving the median sold price to $260,000 in 2021 over $232,000 in 2020. The average sold price was also up significantly, $279,991 over 2020’s $265,825. Homes are being snapped up quickly, the averge days on market is just 15!
