Bob Kutschbach, owner and broker of Carleton Realty, talks about the 2020 Welcome Home Grant. This grant from the Federal Home Loan Bank is available starting March 2nd!
The Federal Home Loan Bank gives $200,000 each to local community banks to offer to home buyers that meet the income restrictions for assistance with down payment and/or closing costs. You could be eligible for up to $5000 for most loans or $7500 for VA loans. The grant is not just for first time home buyers but you can not own 2 homes at once. You CAN, however, do simultaneous closings.
